15+ years ago, my wife and I received an Insta Dome tent as a wedding gift. We requested a tent as we love camping. Whomever gave it to us knew what they were doing. This tent is extremely easy and quick to put up. We used it many times in many different areas, indoors and out. It even made a trip to Sturgis for the Rally. Our kids now use it as the wife and I have upgraded to a camper years back. As I was taking it down today I noticed a couple small holes at the top of the dome. I guess its time to retire it and look for a new one. It has served us very well.

I have several Greatland tents as well as gazebos. As far as I am concerned they are by far the best. Easy set ups and tear downs.

Have had ours for over 15years

Me and at the time my girlfriend (now wife) went looking for a tent back in the nineties and found this insta Greatland tent at Target, wasn't much maybe if I remember about 60 bucks and its great, easy to put up, easy. Now today (July 3, 2011) our 5 year old is going to stay out in it tonight 15-16 years later and it's still working great with no problems and still sets up with ease.

Greatland Tent tgt-1080 - Very good!

We have had our tgt-1080 tent for many years now. We camp by the ocean a couple of times a year and for that purpose the tent has been great!
The tent stands very well to strong, stormy ocean winds.
Zipper on door jams easily but not a big deal, we have no rips so far.
We recently broke one of the corded poles and have ordered a replacement from the company.

We had misplaced the paper instructions but found out that the pocket on the tent bag has a sowed on sheet with basic directions AND the model number.

I absolutely loved my 60 second Greatland tent. I had it for about 15 years (granted I used it on the average less than once a year and only during summertime). It went up so easily and was light to carry. Alas, it died this summer in a strange accident. I am currently online trying to see if I can find the same exact tent somewhere.
