Coleman Kenai Rainfly Poles

The rainfly poles on my Coleman Kenai tent broke after being quite a storm. I got the repair kit to make my own and that didn't work! Coleman doesn't make this tent anymore, so I can't just buy the poles separately. Do you know another brand that has the same dimensions of the tent, fly, diameter of the grommet, etc? Is this easier than it seems to be?

Just found a rain fly for one of my older tents. You can order replacement parts from Coleman. (search: tent replacement parts and Coleman)

Just search for a tent that has similar dimensions and a similar style.

The tent fly I got was about $39 but with tax and shipping it came out to around $50.

1/31/11 I need a tent fly also, I have a 8 by 8 Redhead Outfitting Sporting tent. The fly should be at least 4x4 feet to cover the air vents in the ceiling.

OK, if you buy a Chinese cheapie, forget about getting a replacement fly. The cost involved in making, shipping, stocking and selling will be as much as the dang tent itself. If you pay trash prices, that's what you get...disposable junk! On the other hand, if you're planning to actually use a tent regularly and expect good, long-term performance, INVEST in a higher quality name brand such as North Face, Big Agnes, Sierra Designs, REI, or Eureka. Most of those manufacturers actually stock replacement parts, including flies. I bought a "scratch and dent" Sierra Designs Bedouin at REI, and YES, SD has replacements available for a reasonable price.

We actually have used ours a few times, but it is out of usefulness. We just got poured on and there are enough leaks to ruin the trip with everything getting wet inside the tent.. Looking for a new replacement fly to get dry again.

I need a rainfly too... my son lost ours.

Just today I had this same discussion with the customer service department at Target....

Greatland is manufactured by an overseas company, whose name they would not give me and the manufacturer does not provide parts for their tents. The tents are sold as is, you cannot buy replacement parts!

I told the Target service rep that was rediculous... they just apologized for the inconvenience and am sending me a $20 gc for my trouble. Guess a tarp will have to do!

Moral of the story...don't buy Greatland tents!

Wow sorry guys looks like I'm out of luck also, I need a rainfly for a Greatland tent that a friend gave to me. Unfortunately didn't have a rainfly, they used it once. We used an old one from another tent just to get by for the night but I'm finding out that I can't get a hold of Greatland.

As far as replacement poles try Bass Pro Shop, they do have those there for various tent's, I guess they're universal.

Greatland 4-6 person replacement poles

Is there a source to get a replacement pole? my friends are willing to replace it but are having a hard time finding a source.

We love our Greatland tent

My wife bought a Greatland Nantucket insta-set dining canopy BJ-736. We love it and are sad now that finally after 12 years of wear one of the poles hinges broke. I need to find a replacement part. I hope I can get lucky and get the part I need. BJ-736-PJC. Wish me luck.

Hi everyone,

The company Northpole makes the brand Greatland for Target. They have manuals online. They apparently also offer replacement parts.

Find your model number on a tag inside the tent...

Note: Northpole seem to have gone out of business in 2012.

BJ-940 Greatland 4-room tent

This tent has been great to use but I have one of the insta-set pole tips break in the top hub and have searched in vain for a replacement tip.

This is the only thing wrong with the tent I have. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pole or tip for this model tent?????
