I called Northpoleltd customer service to try and get replacement poles for a Greatland Tent. After sitting on hold for almost 40 minutes they picked up the phone and asked me for the model number. I said I didn't know which number was the model number but I had the tent bag and manual in front of me and could use help finding it. They told me to call back when I had the model number and hung up.
NEVER AGAIN

I have had a Greatland tent with the insta set poles for about 8 to 10 years, and have to tell you I HATE THIS TENT. The first time I put it together took over 3 hours, after a few times you the hang of it and can do it in a few minutes, but the poles get tangled and the frustration isn't worth it. I will never buy a tent with insta poles again.

Hi, I purchased a Brand New tent (7-8 person cabin tent with screen porch 14X15), for a low price of 65.00 from a close out retail outlet, but it came with NO poles.
So I called the 1-800 number that was in side the tent duffel bag as it said, "Do not return to store if missing or broken parts."
But to my surprise the customer service representative told me that the poles would be over 100.00! She said that it would cost just as much as the tent did brand new.
So now I'm stuck with a new tent that's useless. Big Bummer.

The tents may be great, but as far as trying to make contact with this company to replace a snapped pole....impossible and frustrating!!!
The phone number for service must either be disconected or else it's just not answered Two weeks of calling and I still have yet to have the phone answered. No responce to email either.
Maybe a great tent, but obviously a company that does not want to deal with a customer once the sale has been made. Very disappointed.

Crap poles break on first use. Trying to replace thru North Pole big hassle, long time on hold, rude customer service. Try another brand of tent. Target is no help either.

We just opened up our easy up awning by Greatland - we are (were) planning on using it for a cruise in - at the local racetrack this weekend......we had purchased it months ago - but never opened it up until now.....what a great surprise we had......not only is the bag zipper apart but there are no stakes or guy ropes.....another fine item made in China!! We do not feel that this item had been tampered with as it was still in the box with all the wrappings.....very upsetting - not happy at all!
I used my tent 8x this year and thank goodness for duct tape the 3 poles have split and one of the bungie cords failed.
I been camping since a boy scout, now 56, so I properly packed and stored between uses.
This is a real disappointment.

I purchased on line with the winning bid a Greatland 6 man tent. I am 67 years old and have been tent camping since I was 7. I own 6 different tents and have had experience with others. This tent has no instructions and a very large amount of poles that are in different configurations and lengths. Instuctions should be in the pocket inside the tent or sewed onto the tent.

I think that anything you buy from Target sucks, from the main corporation done to the store you go in. Every item that I have bought from Target, I am talking big ticket items, a $800 back yard gazebo to a $400 tent. You can not get any service what so ever from Target. We should have them shut down and go back to their own country.
First time I ever used the tent one set of the poles broke and hey guess what after days of trying to get in touch with someone I found out I could not get replacement parts. No refund or exchange.
