Greatland Tents
An Insta-Camping King with Problems, too

One of the biggest hassles people have when they are camping is the tent set-up. The Greatland tents pitching ease, however, takes some of the stress out of your hiking and camping trip.

Very Convenient

Greatland tents have Insta Set poles. These poles built right into the tent so campers won’t have to struggle assembling the poles. Instead, you just pull the poles down and then lock them in place. This Insta-Set Lock-down System is so easy to use that set-up is completed in a matter of minutes with far less stress.

Adjustable

Many models of the Greatland camping tents provide privacy sleeping. They have removable curtains that divide the tent. They can be separated into two, three or four separate rooms.

These tents with their integral fiberglass frame are very stable. Large screened windows contain zip storm flaps that zip inside to help guard against Mother Nature. As with the windows, the doors on the Greatland camping tents have two screened areas with zipper storm flaps. With Greatland tents you can expect five way interior ventilation and screens made of mesh.

Practically Weatherproof

The roof is protected with a wrap-around rain fly. This also insulates against the summer heat or winter cold. The Greatland fabric itself is fire retardant to industry standards. It is made of high thread count nylon taffeta which make water repellant and breathable walls. The Greatland camping tent floor is made of rip-stop polyethylene that prevents leakage and tearing. These tents also have sewn in pockets for convenient storage.

Greatland Sun Shelters

A Greatland canopy is easy to set up and works perfectly as a shelter from sun and rain during summer camping or outdoor barbecues.

Who Makes Greatland Tents?

Greatland products are distributed primarily by Target Corporation. Check at your local Target store for different models. Amazon and Ebay are also good places to look for tents.

We've been receiving a lot of complaints about Greatland here on this website. They have zero customer service. In fact, if you want to call them or contact them... it's like they don't exist. Break a pole and your tent is done for because they do NOT even offer replacement parts.

Important Note:

I've received many requests for replacement parts, instructions, etc. Please realize that I have no affiliation whatsoever with Greatland Corp.

Please, please don't email me with requests for broken or lost parts and manuals! I don't have them and simply cannot manage the flood of email requests.

Update! Update!

Special thanks to Todd, a site visitor who notified us below that the Greatland Tent brand is actually manufactured by North Pole Ltd, although in 2012 they went into receivership.

Camptown in Korea make very similar tents if not the same, so for anyone interested, here's the link to the Camptown manuals:

To get parts you can try to contact their Customer Service:
