The thing I mostly enjoy about camping is taking a break from reality. It's always good to be out of the "norm" enjoying family, swimming, cooking out and all the the other fun activities. The laundry, tv and all the other stuff is left behind which, for me, is just awesome.



I think it is the best, most relaxing vacation I have ever had. No deadlines, nowhere to be, no special time to wake up or go to bed. What more could you ask for in a vacation?

I also think getting to your destination is half the fun. Playing games in the car, listening to some good music, etc.

I also enjoy the squirrels and rabbits and it's very entertaining for the kids. We like to leave snacks out for them and watch from a distance.

Camping allows you to hike to places where your footstep might be the first ever to touch that particular spot.

We, my wife and I both love camping. We try and camp at least twice a month.



In October 08 we went camping together for 3 of the four weekends during that month. The other weekend I went hunting near Pioche, Nevada.

We like camping because we can try out new recipes, spend time together and depend on one another more than we can when we are living in town. We always watch for wildlife and just get excited when we hear coyotes howl.

Off season camping is the best, the crowds are fewer and we just like spending all of our time with on another.

In January 09 we will have been married 23 wonderful years!

Camping 4 Life

I love the fresh air, the smell of the campfire, food that you eat while camping that you normally wouldn't eat at home, the peace and quiet, the exercise, the scenery, the relationship and team building, I can go on and on.

Camping Fever! I Love Camping

I love camping! Camping is the one place I can go and forget about how many things are left undone at home. Camping means it is time for rest, fun, music, friends and camping foods! Just last year, my family and I got a new RV. We had the "what I call - luxury" of camping 14 times. Generally, several friends haul their RV's to a local campground, pull out a few instruments, jam, talk, walk, laugh and eat together. Camping, for us, is one of the least expensive ways to have fun without going too far from the farm. For some, camping is not their idea of a good time. Yes, true, there is some heat and other weather related elements, there are insects and, of course, those "oh, man" I forgot it at home moments - but for those with a camping fever; we just make do!
