If your afraid to camp...dont be.

I love camping! I am experienced yet I don't go far. My backyard is the farthest I have been yet. My lake in the backyard leads to the everglades(no worries, we have a fence) anyway, if you (and your kids) are a little scared to camp out, here are some tips.



Be in and out of the house constantly so you get used to the outdoors and your body can adjust to the day turning dark. Maybe roast marshmallows or something.

My family and I love to sit in the tent and talk together about our goals in life and fun we have. Bring checkers or chess inside and have fun. There is nothing to be afraid of because it it is almost no different than sleeping inside with your windows open. If the zippers are zipped all is well.

Sleeping outside is a wonderful experience. If you are scared just imagine how happy and proud you would be of your self when you wake up in the morning in the tent!
