Greatland 7 Person Dome Tent
I got this tent back in 2006 when i was looking for a family tent - it was going to be out first time camping, and I must have looked at a hundred tents before settling on this one. At a 160 dollars, I felt it was a bargain at the time.
I first confirmed that the tent was large enough to hold six people by setting it up in my back yard. To my relief, it was very easy to set up and took only about 20 minutes or so to set up the first time. It was very spacious and i am sure even a couple more people in the tent wouldn't have made any difference!
It was pretty lightweight at about 40lb and had about 200 square feet of space when fully assembled. At the actual campsite the setup took a little longer since the ground was rather uneven. The place was Mather Campground, Arizona.
At night there was a slight drizzle which worsened into a downpour and there was only one very small leak from the triple seam where the rear wall meets the floor - but it wasn't much, and very manageable.
I have used it on 3 more occasions since and had no trouble with it at all. So all in all, if you're looking to get a cheap tent that holds up absolutely great then go for this one!
