Your Tested Tent

Your tested tent is the most important thing on your camping list. I've gone camping in a situation where I have forgotten my tent, and another time when my tent had never been used and was so tiny that I could only sleep in it if I laid diagonally.
So not only should you HAVE a tent, but you should try it out once before you are at the site. It will be easier to set up if you’re already familiar, and you’ll know that you can fit.
If you simply set it up in the backyard you are a step ahead. I’ve got a Coleman tent and its really easy to set up, but hard to fit back in the bag, so advance practice helps with that too.
