Avoid problemsTake a friend along who has been camping before, to help things go a little more smoothly. Or you could do a practice camp out in your backyard to make sure you are ready for the real thing! Go ahead and do itThere are sure to be lots of funny moments and frustrating ones, too. But by the time your camping trip is over, its exhilarating to realize that you've actually done it! You'll gain appreciation for comforts of homeAnd when it's time to pack up and go home, you suddenly realize that home is a very wonderful place to be. It's great to get back and rediscover all the modern conveniences! Worst ever?Your first camp out could be your worst camping trip… It seems like everything that can go wrong, does. So don't be discouraged. It WILL be better next time! Best ever!Or it could turn out to be the best camping trip you'll ever have. Everything turns out great. You wonder, "Can it get any better?" First time campers may be a little unsure about everything, but by the time they're done camping, they've joined the confident campers club! Go camping whether you know everything or not. Just do your best to have fun through it all. And I'll bet that your first time camping won't be your last!
