Do You Love Camping?

What is it about camping that is so much fun? Why do you love camping?

Is it because you connect with nature? Sleep under the stars? Maybe hike in the wilderness where few people have been? Or is it the party at the campground with friends? The food cooked over a campfire?

For me, I love camping because of the joy of being outdoors, hearing the sounds of nature, the smell of fresh open air... I love photography and that has certainly brought out an eye to see the beauty around me where-ever I am. Here are some thoughts from other campers:

Camping Mom - The thing I mostly enjoy about camping is taking a break from reality. It's always good to be out of the "norm" enjoying family, swimming, cooking out...

Nothing like a campfire -The campfire is the best part of camping and what I enjoy most. Building up a nice fire is really quite enjoyable...

My friends, of course! - The clean air, the challenge of a good hike, the sunrises, the campfire, even the all-powerful lure of the s'more -- all of this pales in comparison ...
