Greatland waterproof tent flooded, and poles broke

We purchased a tent several years ago, never got a chance to go camping. My son took it out last week, for a camping trip.

First time the box was opened. It rained that night, the waterproof tent flooded, everything got soaked. When he went to take it down, several poles broke.

If this is the kind of workmanship they provide, we will definitely buy a different brand, and will advise our camping friends to do the same.
