I love being away from the world and being with friends. It's the one common bond between me and the friends I go with.

The laughter, swimming, rowing, fishing, waking up and not being at the same place for a change.

It's my life.

Camping is about stopping the routine hurried-about life that we all live. Every moment while camping is simple & basic.

That being said, I am an over-achiever so I enjoy making the most of all activities offered at campgrounds, cooking gourmet campfire food (no weiners at my site!), and the overall efficiency of packing & planning.

Call me a nerd :)

Camping in the four seasons

What is not to love about camping? The peace and quiet. That ability to get away from the every day world and spending time with friends and loved ones. Just about every thing is great.

I love just about everything about camping. Except for getting home and cleaning up everything and getting the smoke smell out of everything.



Camping is the poor man's luxury I think. You really get to get back to nature without all the junk that RVs and rich folks bring.

Also love cooking outdoors, the food tastes amazing, we all sit around together and eat, and life is slower! That's another advantage to camping.

Especially if you forbid the video games. Hee hee.
