It's the Little Things that Add Up

I love just getting away and relaxing in the outdoors.

I love cooking over the fire.

I love falling asleep to the sound of the wind on the tent.

I love sleeping through the rain.

I love campfires and s'mores.

I love my rotis-a-prong roasting fork.

I love my percolator coffee pot.

I guess I could go on and on but I guess there isn't one thing that makes me love camping so much. It's the combination of lots of little things.

Why I camp outdoors?

Well,
First off I think managment will get mad if I build a camp fire in my apartment:-)
Actually,
I saw the electronic, push button world we live I in coming 20 years ago and I keep telling everyone that GOD gave us all we need to enjoy a peaceful night under the stars and there is no fee.

I love hearing the rain on my tent and looking at the satellites moving across the dark sky,
the crackling of the fire and the Bass I caught sure beats the taste of Sardines in a can.
I still start my fires with a bow drill, flint & steel, fire plow or the water proof matches in my survival kit and having a loving, understanding girlfriend that snuggles up with me, makes outdoor camping soooooooooo much better.
