No Cell Phones!

My family and I go camping twice a year and it is our time away from the go get this, take me here, do this everyday lifestyle. NO cell phones, no laptops, no be here at this time. We just relax and enjoy each others company and reconnect.



These camping trips allow us to remember why we like each other anyway. We have been several places camping around the US but we prefer to stay close to home at our cabin in the woods just outside of town....

Not exactly roughing it, but a great escape none the less.

I like camping because I like being with my friends. If I were to be alone I wouldn't want to hear the sounds of nature or take a hike all by myself.

I love roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. I've always LOVED camping. I would camp every year but I don't anymore.

Freedom

What can I say, camping to me is total freedom, as one writer said total freedom no deadlines, no computers television, basic camp fire food. Camp songs around the fire and open countryside smell of grass and no stress leave all your worries at home. Like the song goes, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile smile smile.

Got to go now as I am doing just that, not packing my troubles but packing my tent and camp stove, got to go as im so so excited.
